     [L. motorius that has motion. See {Motor}, n.]
     Causing or setting up motion; pertaining to organs of motion;
     -- applied especially in physiology to those nerves or nerve
     fibers which only convey impressions from a nerve center to
     muscles, thereby causing motion.
