(Chem.)
An alkaloid distinct from picrotoxin and obtained from the
cocculus indicus (the fruit of {Anamirta Cocculus}, formerly
{Menispermum Cocculus}) as a white, crystalline, tasteless
powder; -- called also {menispermina}.
