  Morintannic \Mo`rin*tan"nic\, a. [NL. Morus fustic + E. tannic.]
     (Chem.)
     Pertaining to, or designating, a variety of tannic acid
     extracted from fustic ({Chlorophora tinctoria}, formerly
     {Maclura tinctoria} and {Morus tinctoria}) as a yellow
     crystalline substance; -- called also {maclurin}.
