  Lordosis \Lor*do"sis\, n. [NL., fr. Gr. ?, fr. ? bent so as to
     be convex in front.] (Med.)
     (a) A curvature of the spine forwards, usually in the lumbar
         region.
     (b) Any abnormal curvature of the bones.
