     sometimes {Leant} (l[e^]nt); p. pr. & vb. n. {Leaning}.] [OE.
     lenen, AS. hlinian, hleonian, v. i.; akin to OS. hlin[=o]n,
     D. leunen, OHG. hlin[=e]n, lin[=e]n, G. lehnen, L. inclinare,
