  Charlock \Char"lock\, n. [AS. cerlic; the latter part perh. fr.
     AS. le['a]c leek. Cf. {Hemlock}.] (Bot.)
     A cruciferous plant ({Brassica sinapistrum}) with yellow
     flowers; wild mustard. It is troublesome in grain fields.
     Called also {chardock}, {chardlock}, {chedlock}, and
     {kedlock}.
