  Irascible \I*ras"ci*ble\, a. [L. irascibilis, fr. irasci to be
     angry, ira anger: cf. F. irascible. See {Ire}.]
     Prone to anger; easily provoked or inflamed to anger;
     choleric; irritable; as, an irascible man; an irascible
