  Intercept \In`ter*cept"\, v. t. [imp. & p. p. {Intercepted}; p.
     pr. & vb. n. {Intercepting}.] [L. interceptus, p. p. of
     intercipere to intercept; inter between + capere to take,
     seize: cf. F. intercepter. See {Capable}.]
