  Insinuate \In*sin"u*ate\, v. t. [imp. & p. p. {Insinuated}; p.
     pr. & vb. n. {Insinuating}.] [L. insinuatus, p. p. of
     insinuareto insinuate; pref. in- in + sinus the bosom. See
     {Sinuous}.]
