     to bear.] (Bot.)
     A genus of leguminous plants (family {Leguminosae}) having
     many species, mostly in tropical countries, several of them
     yielding indigo, esp. {Indigofera tinctoria}, {Indigofera
     suffroticosa}, and {Indigofera Anil}.
