  Impious \Im"pi*ous\, a. [L. impius; pref. im- not + pius piou.
     See {Pious}.]
     Not pious; wanting piety; irreligious; irreverent; ungodly;
     profane; wanting in reverence for the Supreme Being; as, an
     impious deed; impious language.
