  Hurl \Hurl\, v. t. [imp. & p. p. {Hurled}; p. pr. & vb. n.
     {Hurling}.] [OE. hurlen, hourlen; prob. contracted fr. OE.
     hurtlen to hurtle, or probably akin to E. whirl. [root]16.
