  Heterophemy \Het`er*oph"e*my\, n. [Hetero- + Gr. ? voice,
     speech, fr. ? to speak.]
     The unconscious saying, in speech or in writing, of that
     which one does not intend to say; -- frequently the very
     reverse of the thought which is present to consciousness.
