     Any of several long-tailed arboreal African monkeys, of the
     genera {Cercopithecus} and {Erythrocebus} (formerly
     classified as {Cercocebus}), such as as the green monkey
     ({Cercopithecus callitrichus}) and grivet ({Cercopithecus
     griseo-viridis}).
