     vb. n. {Glittering}.] [OE. gliteren; akin to Sw. glittra,
     Icel. glitra, glita, AS. glitenian, OS. gl[imac]tan, OHG.
     gl[imac]zzan, G. gleissen, Goth. glitmunjan, and also to E.
     glint, glisten, and prob. glance, gleam.]
