     L. aquarius, adj., water carrying, n., a water carrier, fr.
     aqua water; akin to Goth. ahwa water, river, OHG. aha, G. au,
     aue, meadow. [root]219. Cf. {Aquarium}, {Aquatic}, {Island}.]
     A kind of wide-mouthed pitcher or jug; esp., one used to hold


     water for the toilet.
