  Eudialyte \Eu*di"a*lyte\, n. [Gr. e'y^ well, easily + ? to
     dissolve. So called because easily dissolvable in acids.]
     (Min.)
     A mineral of a brownish red color and vitreous luster,
     consisting chiefly of the silicates of iron, zirconia, and
     lime.
