  Ethenyl \Eth"e*nyl\, n. [Ethene + -yl.] (Chem.)
     (a) A trivalent hydrocarbon radical, {CH3.C}.
     (b) A univalent hydrocarbon radical of the ethylene series,
         {CH2:CH}; -- called also {vinyl}. See {Vinyl}.
