     {Espying}.] [OF. espier, F. ['e]pier, from OHG. speh?n to
     watch, spy, G. sp[aum]hen; akin to L. specere to look,
     species sight, shape, appearance, kind. See {Spice}, {Spy},
     and cf. {Espionage}.]
