     pr. & vb. n. {Eradicating}.] [L. eradicatus, p. p. of
     eradicare to eradicate; e out + radix, radicis, root. See
     {Radical}.]
     1. To pluck up by the roots; to root up; as, an oak tree
        eradicated.
