  Enorthotrope \En*or"tho*trope\, n. [Gr. ? in + ? upright,
     correct + ? to turn.]
     An optical toy; a card on which confused or imperfect figures
     are drawn, but which form to the eye regular figures when the
     card is rapidly revolved. See {Thaumatrope}.
