     noun), {Dozens} (d[u^]z"'nz). [OE. doseine, dosein, OF.
     doseine, F. douzaine, fr. douze twelve, fr. L. duodecim; duo
     two + decem ten. See {Two}, {Ten}, and cf. {Duodecimal}.]

        with or without of before the substantive which follows.
