  Disport \Dis*port"\, v. i. [imp. & p. p. {Disported}; p. pr. &
     vb. n. {Disporting}.] [OF. se desporter; pref. des- (L. dis-)
     + F. porter to carry; orig. therefore, to carry one's self
     away from work, to go to amuse one's self. See {Port}
     demeanor, and cf. {Sport}.]
