  Discoblastic \Dis`co*blas"tic\, a. [Gr. ? disk + ? to grow.]
     (Biol.)
     Applied to a form of egg cleavage seen in osseous fishes,
     which occurs only in a small disk that separates from the
     rest of the egg.
