     pr. & vb. n. {Disapproving}.] [Pref. dis- + approve: cf. F.

     1. To pass unfavorable judgment upon; to condemn by an act of
        the judgment; to regard as wrong, unsuitable, or
        inexpedient; to censure; as, to disapprove the conduct of


        others.
