     + ? to produce) + 'odoy`s, 'odo`ntos, tooth.] (Anat.)
     Having two successive sets of teeth (deciduous and
     permanent), one succeeding the other; as, a diphyodont
     mammal; diphyodont dentition; -- opposed to {monophyodont}.
