  Diapnoic \Di`ap*no"ic\, a. [Gr. ? outlet for the wind,
     exhalation, fr. ? to blow through; dia` through + ? to blow,
     breathe: cf. F. diapno["i]que.] (Med.)
     Slightly increasing an insensible perspiration; mildly
     diaphoretic. -- n. A gentle diaphoretic.
