  Dendrocoela \Den`dro*c[oe]"la\, n. pl. [NL., fr. Gr. de`ndron
     tree + koi^los hollow.] (Zool.)
     A division of the Turbellaria in which the digestive cavity
     gives off lateral branches, which are often divided into
     smaller branchlets. Dendroid
