  Delicacy \Del"i*ca*cy\, n.; pl. {Delicacies}. [From {Delicate},
     a.]
     1. The state or condition of being delicate; agreeableness to
        the senses; delightfulness; as, delicacy of flavor, of
        odor, and the like.
