     {Decorticated}; p. pr. & vb. n. {Decorticating}.] [L.
     decorticatus, p. p. of decorticare to bark; de- + cortex
     bark.]
     To divest of the bark, husk, or exterior coating; to husk; to
     peel; to hull. "Great barley dried and decorticated."
