     any of several dozen DNA-containing virus of the family
     {Herpetoviridae}, including among them such
     human-disease-causing agents as {Herpes simplex virus}

     ({Herpes zoster virus}) causing shingles and chickenpox


     (varicella), {Epstein-Barr virus} (EB virus) causing
