  Cuscus \Cus"cus\, n. [The same word as {Couscous}, fr. F.
     couscous couscous, Ar. kuskus.] (Bot.)
     A soft grass ({Pennisetum typhoideum}) found in all tropical
     regions, used as food for men and cattle in Central Africa.
