  Cosmolabe \Cos"mo*labe\ (k?z"m?-l?b), n. [Gr. ko`smos the world
     + lamba`nein to take: cf. F. cosmolade.]
     An instrument resembling the astrolabe, formerly used for
     measuring the angles between heavenly bodies; -- called also
     {pantacosm}.
