     corchorus a poor kind of pulse, Gr. ko`rchoros a wild plant
     of bitter taste.] (Bot.)
     The common name of the {Kerria Japonica} or Japan
     globeflower, a yellow-flowered, perennial, rosaceous plant,
     seen in old-fashioned gardens.
