  Clack \Clack\, v. i. [imp. & p. p. {Clacked}; p. pr. & vb. n.
     {Clacking}.] [Prob. of imitative origin; cf. F.claquer to
     clap, crack, D. klakken, MHG. klac crack, Ir. clagaim I make
     a noise, ring. Cf. {Clack}, n., {Clatter}, {Click}.]
