  Carbureted \Car"bu*ret`ed\, a.
     1. (Chem.) Combined with carbon in the manner of a carburet
        or carbide.

        compound; as, water gas is carbureted to increase its
        illuminating power. [Written also {carburetted}.]

     carburize.
