     a night attack; cf. It. camiciata. See {Camis}.] [Obs.]
     (Mil.)
     (a) A shirt worn by soldiers over their uniform, in order to
         be able to recognize one another in a night attack.
     (b) An attack by surprise by soldiers wearing the camisado.
