  Camera \Cam"e*ra\, n.; pl. E. {Cameras}, L. {Camerae}. [L.
     vault, arch, LL., chamber. See {Chamber}.]
     A chamber, or instrument having a chamber. Specifically: The
     {camera obscura} when used in photography. See {Camera}, and
     {Camera obscura}.
