  Flavaniline \Fla*van"i*line\ (? or ?; 104), n. [L. flavus yellow
     + E. aniline.] (Chem.)
     A yellow, crystalline, organic dyestuff, {C16H14N2}, of
     artifical production. It is a strong base, and is a complex
     derivative of aniline and quinoline.
