  Burrow \Bur"row\, v. i. [imp. & p. p. {Burrowed}; p. pr. & vb.
     n. {Burrowing}.]
     1. To excavate a hole to lodge in, as in the earth; to lodge
        in a hole excavated in the earth, as conies or rabbits.
