     p. p. {Beatified} (b[-e]*[a^]t"[i^]*f[imac]d); p. pr. & vb.
     n. {Beatifying}.] [L. beatificare; beatus happy (fr. beare to
     bless, akin to bonus good) + facere to make: cf. F.
     b['e]atifier. See {Bounty}.]
