  Antipathy \An*tip"a*thy\, n.; pl. {Antipathies}. [L. antipathia,
     Gr. ?; 'anti` against + ? to suffer. Cf. F. antipathie. See
     {Pathos}.]
     1. Contrariety or opposition in feeling; settled aversion or
        dislike; repugnance; distaste.
