  Anorthoclase \A*nor"tho*clase\, n. [Gr. 'an priv. + orthoclase.]
     (Min.)
     A feldspar closely related to orthoclase, but triclinic. It
     is chiefly a silicate of sodium, potassium, and aluminium.
