  Pulsatilla \Pul`sa*til"la\, n. [NL.] (Bot.)
     A genus of ranunculaceous herbs including the pasque flower.
     This genus is now merged in {{Anemone}}. Some species, as
     {Anemone Pulsatilla}, {Anemone pratensis}, and {Anemone
     patens}, are used medicinally.
