  Accede \Ac*cede"\, v. i. [imp. & p. p. {Acceded}; p. pr. & vb.
     n. {Acceding}.] [L. accedere to approach, accede; ad + cedere
     to move, yield: cf. F. acc['e]dere. See {Cede}.]
