  Abduct \Ab*duct"\, v. t. [imp. & p. p. {Abducted}; p. pr. & vb.
     n. {Abducting}.] [L. abductus, p. p. of abducere. See

     1. To take away surreptitiously by force; to carry away (a
        human being) wrongfully and usually by violence; to
        kidnap.
