  AEthrioscope \[AE]"thri*o*scope\, n. [Gr. ? clear + ? to
     observe.]
     An instrument consisting in part of a differential
     thermometer. It is used for measuring changes of temperature
     produced by different conditions of the sky, as when clear or
     clouded.
