  Disdiapason \Dis*di`a*pa"son\, n. [Pref. dis- (Gr. ?) +
     diapason.] (Anc. Mus.)
     An interval of two octaves, or a fifteenth; -- called also
     {bisdiapason}. Compare {diapason[1]}.
