  Deutoxide \Deu*tox"ide\ (?; 104), n. [Pref. deut- + oxide.]
     (Chem.)
     A compound containing in the molecule two atoms of oxygen
     united with some other element or radical; -- usually called
     {dioxide}, or less frequently, {binoxide}.
