  Botryoid \Bot"ry*oid\, Botryoidal \Bot`ry*oid"al\, a. [Gr. ?
     cluster of grapes + -oid.]
     Having the form of a bunch of grapes; like a cluster of
     grapes, as a mineral presenting an aggregation of small
     spherical or spheroidal prominences; as, botryoidal hematite.
